This very artistic and cultural little town attracts tourists to quite an extent having events and activities that don't happen in any other Namibian town like "Donkey Tours" and the Omaruru Artist Trail, the Omaruru Rough Ride around the Koppe, The Franke Tower, S. I. !Gobs' Grave, Wilhelm Zeraua's Grave, and the Museum inTown. Omaruru also has within it's area the Bushman Conservancy, the Brandberg -Witvrou or White Lady about 120km from Omaruru, close to Uis. The historical Dinosaurs Tracks within 80 km from Omaruru, Paula's Caves. Other attractionsoffered by the Town are: huge evergreen trees and the unique rock formations of theErongo Mountains. The Omaruru District offers a wealth of things to see, especially in nature, wildlife, rock art, archae-ology and minerals. Omaruru offers a wide range of high standard Game Lodges and guest farms with excellent facilities. All the lodges we have found within 60km of Omaruru are listed on the Map of Vacinity.
